Kalli graduates from "Dare"

Another sign that my daughter is growing up. She graduated from the "Dare", anti-drug and bullying program, at school today. So proud of the commitment she has made to not use drugs or alcohol.

We had a great time. Parker was so fun. He knew when he saw the rainbow and gold coins that the "trick leprechaun" was up to something. We had green milk. While we were at church the silly leprechaun blocked all the kids bedrooms and turned all the kitchen chairs upside down. 




Katlyn

Katlyn recieves "Student of the Month" for the month of February. She received her certificate in Math. We are proud of her.

Abbigail's blessing

Amanda and Jase had Abby blessed today. We went to the blessing and stayed for the 3 hour block of church. Due to the number of cousins in attendance Kylah ended up going to Sunbeams by herself instead of joining Jacob in his class. She went without any hesitation. I was truly amazed, and maybe a little sad, that she was not shy or scared at all. I got to hold Abby a lot after and even got to feed her twice. She is a beautiful addition to the Hopkin family.

Katlyn donates her hair

Katlyn has been growing her hair long for the sole purpose of donating it. We came upon a great deal. Great Clips and Children with hair loss teamed up and were giving vouchers for Disney on Ice, featuring Repunzel, for every donation of 8" or more.  I took her in and we made an additional $ donation so that she could get a T-shirt. The lady then told us we could go. I asked about paying for the haircut and was told it was free as part of the arrangement. This made the deal even sweeter. I love that Katlyn is always so thoughtful. She has a big heart (and a lot of hair).

Goal for 2013

My goal for 2013 is to post to my blog at least once every month. It is February 23rd and this is my first post. I am not off to a great start.
