Air Show

Aaron worked at the air show at Hill Air Force Base fueling planes.  He got some pretty neat pictures of some planes very close up.

Mom's trip to Massachusetts

I was able to go to Massachusetts to attend Jason's college graduation.  He received his associates degree, Summa Cum Laude. He graduated from Dean College. He received an outstanding achievement award, Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. He was the only one present to receive a straight 4.0 GPA.  I am so proud of him. I am also proud of his wife, Dana she has about a year to go to get her degree, but she is also getting a 4.0.

After graduation we went to lunch. It was nice to be able to spend time with them. I loved getting to know my niece and nephew better.  My dad and I took the kids to McDonalds playland after lunch so that Jason and Dana could get some sleep. They were making a 15 hour drive that night to go visit Dana's mom.

I spent the few days prior to graduation catching up with friends from high school.  I stayed with Shannon and she carted me around everywhere I needed to go. I was also able to go to dinner with my friends Jenn and Joanna one night.  While at dinner Joanna and I both found out that Jenn is engaged and also expecting a baby.  I am so happy for her.

Kylah's birthday party

We celebrated Kylah's 3rd birthday at Grandma Mortensen's house. The theme of the party was Minnie Mouse and Zebra.  Lynette Dearden made the cake. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandparents were in attendance.  Kylah got a scooter from mom and dad.

Mom and Dad took Kylah to Boondocks for her and dad's birthday.  She and Parker played in the kiddie cove for a long time. Mom even climbed through to help Kylah. Then we bought both kids some ice cream. Kylah wanted pink of course. Parker chose superhero which consisted of a bright purple, blue, red and yellow. 

Later, Aaron and I went back. We rode go-karts, played 36 holes of miniature golf and 2 strings of bowling. It was a lot of fun. It was a lot like when we were dating.  Love this man.

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon for the first time this year. We bought season passes this year. Kylah did not like the rides at all.  She did like the baby boats and the carousel.  Parker, Katlyn and Kalli love the rides and went with dad for part of the time. The girls and I rode on the new ride "Air Race" while Aaron took Kylah and Parker on the Ferris wheel.  Hopefully Kylah warms up to the rides throughout the summer.
